Chef’s Perfect Popovers

Today I opened my grandmothers vintage recipe box looking for what I remember eating as a child, were these light incredible crispy on the outside, but soft and dense on the inside buttery flavored Popovers and there was that recipe.   Today I am sharing it with you, please enjoy this family recipe!

Ingredients:
Butter (for greasing the pan)
1 tablespoon melted, unsalted butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, room temperature
1 cup milk room temperature

Equipment Needed:
Nordic Ware Grand Popover Pan
Food Processor
Cooling Rack

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 450F.

Grease your popover pan with butter.

Put all the ingredients in the food processor and blend for 30 seconds.

Pour the batter evenly into the pan cups and bake for 20 minutes.

Lower the heat to 350F and bake another 15 to 20 minutes until the popovers are well browned.

Place the popovers on a cooling rack and poke each one with a skewer or tooth pick to allow steam to escape.

Serve warm
